This is the quietest Saints Talk has ever been before a regular season game

It's such a disappointment and I know the vast majority of us were bullish this season.

Really hoping for a win just to keep the season interesting before I switch entirely to Bengals / Buccaneers.

It's actually sad watching the FO try to keep limping this team along for a hopeful playoff spot..

[insert Jim Mora's ["Play-off's? Play-offs?] gif...

They should have admitted that they had to rebuild and trust the fans would stick with them.

Few teams can rebuild AND compete at the same time. The Saints are not one of them and never have been.

Because deep down I think everyone knows it's already over for this season.

That, and it's Garbage Night Football.

That’s bc we all on Pels talk — did ya not see the Squad last night? WE COMIN!

PS: enjoy the Bucs considering TB ain’t even as good as Brees was his last year. He’s actually much much worse statistically… on pace for only 22 TDs this year

Not much to get excited about or enjoy with this team at the moment.

In hibernation until the 2024 draft

You sure about that? 6th in YPG and 12th in PPG. Not saying it’s great, but the offense hasn’t been the problem. It’s been the defense.

We scored 26 points with a backup everything. That should be enough points to win in the NFL. The defense has failed this team. This was supposed to be a defensive-led team. You should not lose home games scoring 26. We have allowed over 60 points in the last two games alone.

I agree with this, minus the Bengals/Bucs things. I don't give a shite about them.

Who do the Saints even play this weekend?.....I kid.

But I will watch, there just isn't much positive to talk about week to week. Sorry.

This.

The Atlanta Falcons have a better defense right now. Let that sink in.

Oops, I just realized that the Falcs have a better Offense, too.

Yikes.

All facts. That being said, the offense/special teams is responsible for turnovers that cost us Tampa/Carolina/Minnesota. The defense forgetting how to tackle cost us Cincinatti.

If the whole team could just get their head out of their fricking arse and play complete games we'd be alright.
