It just feels right. Especially now that he and Shailene have broken up. Aaron Rodgers with no distractions is going to be awesome. Saints will hard to beat!

You should add "IMO" or something to the thread title

...IMO, Rodgers and Wilson will both stay put

So you want to trade first rounders for a guy that might decide to retire any offseason?

Hmm. Rodgers was born in 83. Brees was born in 79.

There are a ton of people here saying we should have offloaded Brees and got a younger QB 4 years ago or at least gotten a QB in waiting.

You really think we should overpay for a guy who has us right back where we were with Brees when he was that age?

And in a worse cap situation now.

I'd love to hear your opinion on how Rodgers $46.6m contract hit in 2022 fits in with the Saints' salary cap situation. Thanks I'll hang up and listen.

Didn't he win the MVP this year? By definition, he already is the most awesome.

Exactly. We will barely be able to handle Jamies contract much less a star QB the caliber of Rodgers, Russ or even Carr.

If we still had CSP we would likely have a chance at him, but I don't see that as likely with DA/Pete.

We will almost certainly need to bring back Jameis, take a chance on a guy like Trubisky, or draft someone...or all 3.

You are seriously misreading the room if you think the Saints who have taken major steps to maintain their current locker room culture is going to give up draft picks for an anti-vaxxer to be the leader who doesn't put his team first.
