Well over. Payton seems rejuvenated and our offense has a ton of weapons. Defense looks to be improved as well. I mean our D line and linebacking core are MAJORLY improved

Over.

The offense will shift to adjust for the OL and throw a fricking shitload of screens and quick outs.

The defense will surprise. I love the young talent on the DL and secondary, and I love the experience in the LB corps. I think it meshes and they jump into upper tier (top 12 D).

I like the players we have on defense, but I think it will take them a while to get going. The CB's are insanely young. So are some key front 7 contributors. I think the CB's will be adequate, then start clicking around week 7 or 8 (right around the time Rankins comes back).

I'll say this: we'll be in the 13-20 range on defense if Breaux and Cam stay healthy. If either goes down for a significant period of time, we're fricked.

this is how i have it. 6-10. I think we could get to 8 wins if all goes right. NYG on the road, and DEN at home are 2 games I think we can steal.

Push.

tough schedule in the middle of the season. Some questions on the O-line and young corners have me thinking if we make 8-8 it would be a good year.

I like the LB's a little better if Ellerbe stays healthy and Robertson helps out in coverage. Interested to see what Anthony does this year also..

we'll get Rankins back and I like the Kruger signing for rushing the passer. Hoping for good blitzing from the defense to help out the young corners.

gotta run the ball good enough not to be one dimensional.. that might be a tall order but we'll see. Armstead being nicked up this preseason has me like dude WTF?? kind of nervous.

still pissed we spent a lot on TE in free agency. Don't fricking do that unless the guy is a top tier talent(sorry I ranted)

OVER. The o-line meshes, Drew is Drew and Thomas is NFC rookie of the year.
Defense is top 10,Cam Jordan has a career year, Vacarro makes the pro bowl.

Maybe I'm too optimistic.

I know people will laugh at this but we literally went from "worst defense ever" to a top 5 unit in one year between 2012-2013.

I really didn't expect this much positivity in this thread.. It's crazy how the discussion always turn back into rational ones when the gamedayers leave

ETA: to answer the op I'll say over.. 9-7

People freak out way too much over the preseason. Yes it's nice to have football back on but you have to take EVERYTHING with a grain of salt. After the first quarter its usually a game to see if my 6th stringers are better than your 6th stringers. I will truly start to judge after the starters play a full 4 quarters.

Saying that my biggest worry is O-line. But I think once the same players play together a full game they will be okay.
