Yah I hope so. Would be swell if he took a slight restructure to not suffocate our cap so much as his play inevitably declines a bit.

This roster looks 5 times better than it did after Week 1, and a lot of us are thrilled to eat crow. We could win another Super Bowl before he hangs them up if things break right.

I would rather go with a first round qb and save $15 mil. Annually for 5 years.

Kirk cousins is 0-9 in prime time games. I like the guy, but I don't think he's a super star that everyone makes him out to be. There's a reason he's been on the Franchise Tag the last two seasons. The Redskins don't believe him either.

He's not a star, but if we're taking account 3 years (including this). He's a Matt Ryan caliber guy. Above average, who knows if he'll be elite.

So far the artciles I have been reading this is going to be a down year for drafting a QB so I wouldn't put all of my hopes in te team reaching for someone this year.

Wait a second.....you accused me of saying we should cut Brees (never happened) when you literally made a thread about replacing Brees? This is rich. This. Is. Rich.

This makes your Sunday performance even worse and I didn't even think that was possible

This is supposed to be one of the better QB crops

Didn't they say the same with Goff and Wentz?

Mayfield, Rosen, Josh Allen, Lamar Jackson, Luke Falk, Mason Rudolph. Odds are pretty good at least two of those pan out. Question is which two. I'd be interested in Mayfield in like the third.

Every thread isn't about you, alter. You don't need to try and derail every conversation with your weak arse troll game.

Sporting News

I had seen a few articles yesterday about the class being overrated. Apparently, I did not catch it was the same writer having her work replicated on other sites. I belive this is her original article.

Has anyone heard that Darnold is considering staying at USC?

Kirk Cousins will probably be a 49er next year.

Don't forget about Will Grier.

quote:

Our analysts are constantly talking to NFL and college sources about players in the college game. This week, NFL.com analyst Lance Zierlein shares some of what NFL folks are saying about a couple of the game's top quarterbacks -- West Virginia's Will Grier and Oklahoma State's Mason Rudolph. The QBs will meet on Saturday in a highly anticipated Big 12 matchup

quote:

The scoop: "I think what happened is that with all the focus on the big three (Josh Rosen, Sam Darnold and Josh Allen), quarterbacks like (Will) Grier (West Virginia), the Memphis quarterback (Riley Ferguson) and Jeremiah Briscoe (Sam Houston State) flew under the radar for a lot of scouts. Grier really has scouts taking notice now. ... I need to start watching him because the production has been impressive." -- NFC scout

The skinny: The stats have indeed been impressive for the Florida transfer. Grier is completing 66.3 percent of his passes heading into Week 9, with 2,467 yards (No. 7 in the FBS), 26 touchdowns (leads the FBS) and just 5 interceptions. Grier's completion percentage has benefitted from a fair amount of short throws, but 21 of his 26 TD passes have come via intermediate or deep balls.

His playing style reminds me of an even more excitable Baker Mayfield, but Grier doesn't share Mayfield's outstanding deep-ball accuracy. He might have flown under the radar previously, but NFL scouts are beginning to evaluate Grier's strengths and weaknesses much more closely now.

This will be a QB heavy draft even if Sam Darnold stays in school. Lots of QB prospect. It's been awhile since a draft had this many QBs with a buzz around them.
