I like to hear that fire In him again. Let’s be realistic the beginning of the season without Thomas and the current WR room will be ??????

Cliffs:
First question of his press conference today, which asked about it and the current WR room. Could not look up as he was answering (even for him via these screens). In CSP way, you could tell he was pissed.
- we expect to go some time without him.
- we will work through it with the other players we have here.
- we wished this had happened earlier than later, and “quite honestly, it should’ve”
- not a lack of communication, and per CSP “I’m gonna leave it at that.”
- there are other pressing positions before the WR position.
Basically, sounds like MT13s time here may be limited. If Payton doesn’t want him, he won’t be here.
Also, CSP seems fiery as all hell and looks to have lost some weight.

Surgery should of happened in April

He will definitely be included in the Howard trade with Miami….

Saints followed up with him to make sure he went to his appointments. He said he would, lied for whatever reason, and didn’t go.
His time here is over. Wouldn’t be surprised if he’s shutdown the entire year and then traded, probably for peanuts being that he’s now “injury prone” and a head case.

Didn't get to listen live to the press conference but have read a good bit of quotes from Loomis and Payton. Belief is the WR room is good enough; no need to do a knee jerk signing. States they like the room more than most media guys do. Quite honestly, the way CSP calls plays, we should know by now not to underestimate him with WRs.
The CB position though.....yeah, I expect them to swing and make a trade and soon

I heard the press conference. Sean sounded pissed right from the beginning. He was not a happy camper on the 1st day of cam.
Why did Thomas wait so long to have the surgery? Was it Thomas' fault? Was it the fault of the doctors? Did they go 4 months trying treatment other than surgery before they realized surgery would be necessary?
Payton did not want to answer these questions, but I would like to know the answre to them.

DeVonte Parker and Xavier Howard for Michael Thomas, Peat, and a 2nd.

If Miami is in the mood to get fricked, sure

It’s kinda funny that our team doctor suddenly left the team in June. Maybe this had something to do with it.

Can’t blame everything on the player.
It’s the Saints responsibility to make sure he had surgery the next day after the season was over.
CSP was too busy planning his wedding and getting married.

The only think I disagree with you on is I don't think he said "not a lack of communication". He said "I'm going to leave it at that on a question that asked him if it was a lack of communication and also asked him to elaborate.
It would be crystal clear if he said "not a lack of communication". I think that's the case but he didn't say that.

So coach elected to have the surgery in the off-season so he is ready for the season.
