And there's nothing the haters can do to stop it.

It looks like it.

His deep balls need serious work, but he threw well most of the game.

And having a guy Payton wants will keep him around a lot longer.

Love him. But no. We’ll be drafting our future guy

I doubt it. He has to run the ball to open up the pass, and if he does that consistently he will break down physically. If he is the answer he has to get a lot better at delivering when the defense expects pass.

they're some wounded ducks, but everything else looked good.

he really needs to improve the red zone passing though, some of those passes are gonna be picked off

I think its very possible that Taysom starts for like...30 games between Brees and the actual future guy.

Hes 31 at the start of next season. If he's the guy, he likely a decent place holder for the long term successor.

Not ready to hitch the wagon to any of the backups on the roster but I gotta say that Taysom impressed me today.

With a solid O line, good D, and some big running backs; the Saints could win Super Bowls behind Taysom. Control the entire flow of games. RPO, scramble, and the occasional 50 yarder.

No shite. Guy hasn't started since BYU. You guys expect him to come out and play a perfect game?! Delusional. He developed over the course of 1 game. I have full faith, as should you all, that he will continue to develop and be a force to be wreckoned with. A guy that passionate for the game would expect nothing less of himself

Transitional guy perhaps. At age 30 he clearly isn’t THE future.
