No one is disputing that, especially for that reason. Just commenting that they don’t/wont tank

I remember when the colts were “tanking for Luck”, they won 2 games towards the end of the season and almost played themselves out of the Luck sweepstakes

He may make the same but he delays the 2nd contract in the nfl by a year which is a lot of money these days, QBs getting 50+ per year.

Don't take that dude seriously. I'm shocked he didn't call you Susan or Paula or some other ladies name. I'm just amazed he took his mouth off Sanders long enough to post this. What he fails to understand is what you said. Arch can come out next year if he feels like the situation is good enough to make sure his next contract will maximize his potential earnings. The NIL won't force players into bad situations.

What has Arch done to tell anyone that he is the second coming of his Uncles? It’s all just family name and high school potential.

Tanking is stupid regardless.

Nah I definitely rather tank than go 5-12 again. If you only have 2-3 wins and it’s week 10+ you should start thinking about tanking

A. He’s not going to drop past the teams with bad situations

and

B. At where he’ll be drafted, he’ll be a major determinant of how and if that situation gets better

Tank for arch but hate sanders who turned around two programs? And arch has done what now?

Typical color motivated saints talk

NIL money figures being thrown around is absolutely insane

And a lot of it is BS put out by “agents” with the intention of trying to leverage the market.

Tanking fascinates fans who dream of quick fixes. But the strategy has a spotty track record… at best.

It’s not the same as the NBA or even MLB. Every one knows you need a QB, they like to have a “name” and you add the history with the family in NOLA it’s gonna be a long 2 years

He started against ULM and Moo. Hardly playing against NFL talent. Practice does not count.

We also don’t know how his college career will pan out. At one point Spencer Rattler was projected to be the first overall pick. Saints fans can’t get past his last name and just assume he’s going to be great. The next one is going to be tank for Brees’s kid. Just like the idiots that want Brees as HC with zero coaching background.

The irony is that you think we have a choice. We are going to be bottom 2-3 teams in the league record wise no matter what we do at this point. We lack talent and depth in so many areas. Our best players are injury prone and likely to be on IR by week 8.

Sir, what high school potential? He played in the private school division of Louisiana. He played a bunch of 5'8" white kids who sucked for most of the year which is when he stat padded.

Do me a favor. Check out his stats in the playoffs when they actually played good teams.

If the Saints tank for Arch, Goodell will make an example of the them and strip the pick.
