Win% is irrelevant to me. Brees has some of his best years, and didnt even go .500. What matters to me is are any of the QBs available to us going to be the answer for us to win a Superbowl in the next 3 years, and the answer for all of them is no.

You take a cheap bandaid player this year in someone like Teddy, and try to get the best QB in the draft next year.

Jameis has the most potential out of this group if you ask me.

Put the Kool-aid down,Winston has been in the league longer then most on the list and they have all accomplished more then he did.Trubisky is younger and has way more potential,Wentz had a very good year last year, and Jimmy G was the QB oposite Stafford in the NFC Championship. Winston has done nothing since he has been in the league..

Winston is best option of those 4, in my opinion.

Hard to say who we will get still being 40 million over the salary cap. We need to get out of this situation every year. The saints keep players too long and then we keep them even longer because their contracts are all heavily back loaded. Drew is still counting 11.5 million against our cap this year.

I keep hearing Cousins pop up in trade talks. He's got to be the best possibility after AR and RW fell off the table.

Pass! He has a base salary of $35M, all guaranteed, that the team would have to deal with, and he's on the last year of his contract. So, you'd have to give up key assets to get an expensive contract that could potentially be a 1 year rental.

Makes sense then. explains why Minny is shopping him at only 14MM over the cap.

Drew Brees won 62% of his starts here bubba

The NFC is wide open. The QB we have will matter as we will still trot out a top 5 NFC roster, maybe even the best once the draft and FA finish. Considering Garrapolo, Foles, Goff types have made the SB in recent years, we don’t need a superstar. But they do need to be able to threaten a defense downfield if this is going to work

My thoughts entirely.

Jameis wasn't ready to start for Tampa as a rookie, and it showed. It screwed up his time there, but doesn't look like it permanently ruined him the way lots of top picks have had happen. I think he can still develop more, and he was solid last year with us.

Someone mentioned "can you win a Super Bowl with him"; it depends on the team makeup. Dennis Allen is a defensive coach, that probably will be the trademark of his team. We were a playoff team last year if Jameis stayed healthy, because of the defense. If that side of the ball gets even better, I say YES, we can win one with Jameis. I don't see any difference between him and Stafford, they just won one.
