Take it with a grain of salt, but La Canfora says Saints will take a QB in the first round

He says Mitch Trubisky will be a top 6 pick and then Mahomes/Watson will go in the first as well, one of which will be a Saint either at 11 or 32.

I loved Watson until I saw his arm strength. You can't have a weak arm in the NFL unless you are Joe Montana.

As great as Drew Breese is, he is not a mentor. None of his back-ups has ever shown any improvement playing behind him.

Well on the plus side if they go QB at 11 at least I'll have my Sundays wide open this coming fall since I won't be watching a 5-11 team every week

Jason Lolcanfora also said that Malcolm Butler would be a Saint in March...yet the last I checked he's still listed as a RFA.

So you think a rookie at 11 is going to be the difference in 5-11 and what exactly? How many wins is day Barnett worth? You obviously think we're going to be pretty bad regardless of who is drafted at 11.

At 32 maybe, but I doubt it. At 11 no fricking way. Brees might lose on purpose and leave the following year to leave us with a 3-13 team.

I just don't see QBs going high this year. Probably one, maybe two in the first in the mid teens. The media always overranks QBs, but the teams won't go that far off their board. Plus, teams will think they can find their Dak in the later rounds. No need to rush.

These reporters are so desperate for a story they will repeat anything.
Saints are not drafting a QB in the 1st round. or the 2nd or 3rd...and likely not at all.
