I just know Hurts’ production regressed with him as OC. Pretty sure he was #2 in mvp votes in 2022.

The Eagles were last in the NFL in percentage of snaps with a receiver in motion. The Saints were 26th. No thanks.

Are we sure hurts isn’t a one year wonder?

They started 10-1 with wins over the Bucs, Rams, Dolphins, Cowboys and Bills. Their late seasons collapse was a bit puzzling.
Their defense was a shell of itself from last year, and something was definitely awry with the offense late in the year. I’m not sure Hurts wasn’t banged up a bit, he seemed to have a hitch in step.

Yeah don’t get me wrong. I think he’s a good starting qb. Just wonder if maybe fantasy and having maybe the best WR combo in the league made us think he’s a tier higher.

Well any good DC will force an offense’s hand by showing schemes that play to the opposing offense’s weaknesses. Philly seemed to keep a simple game plan on offense, it’s the threat of their running game and o-line strength that has been hard to game plan for.
