Milroe holds on to the ball way too long. He doesn't process information fast enough. As great as Tebow was, he had similar issues.

Milroe has a ton of physical skills but unless he wants to be Taysom 2.0, he ain't playing.

I'd take him in Rd. 3 as Taysom's replacement.

Milroe will be a worse QB than Tebow. Kid can't pass for shite. Seems like a pick the jets would make.

I’d rather we just give the pick away for free.

He’s going in the first round. I just hope not to us.

We don’t need a QB right now. We need to draft at other positions so when a rookie QB is finally selected he can have a strong supporting cast around him.

Why would we draft a soft running back there?

I can see it now:

With the ninth pick the New Orleans Saints select Jalen Milrie, Quarterback from Alabama.

Just funny how dismissive this board is towards him when the rest of the country thinks he is an elite talent.

You couldn’t be more wrong. Go to the Bama board, their fan base even wants him gone. You think LSU fan base wanted Burrow to leave if he had another year of eligibility?

This reminds me of Anthony Richardson getting drafted a few years ago, I said on here drafting him in the first, much less top of the first will get a gm fired. Fans are ready to get rid of him already.

You don’t gamble on talent with huge deficiencies in the first. Much less high first.

He can’t even be that. He can just run in a straight line fast. Pretty mediocre footwork as a runner, not the best field vision, bad lateral agility, and though he’s strong enough to bowl dudes over he seems to avoid contact quite often.

Even if he wanted to be the next Taysom (he definitely wouldn’t want to try so he’s set on being a pass first QB even though he’s not), I don’t think he’s capable of being so. He can’t even run a read option well

Bama didn’t want hurts either. Ohio state didn’t want Joe burrow.

Neither of us has any idea if milroe will pan out. The odds are every single qb in this draft will be a flop. But I still think he’s talented enough to take a chance on
