The most insane part of all of this is how Hunter is somehow modest and apparently hardworking/appreciative while being Deion's actual jewel prospect/recruit/player

You said that he didn’t care about draft position. I called bullshite and brought up the set that was built for the draft (and I’ll throw in all the filming going on)….and you say that doesn’t equate……

I’m going to push back against this narrative. I teach at a small university and have teenage kids. I think Shedeur’s entitlement is an exception and not the rule. I encounter really great young g people far more often than the occasional entitled young adult. The entitled ones just get the focus and so it seems worse than it is.

Yup. My best guess is that he got very bad advice. He thought by trying to massage the draft process he would poison the well in interviews of teams he did not want to go to. Thinking he was in control. That crap spread amongst the teams.

Correct. It’s not collusion but the teams he “wanted” to go to also hear this shite and think about what happens when it’s not going well for them and say “lol no thanks”

Travis Hunter is a young man that I will root for for his entire career.

What it boils down to is Deon thinks he is bigger than the game and the league and because of this his son feels this way also because that is what he was taught. This should have been apparent when Deon came out saying there were teams he would not allow his son and Hunter to play for. It also would appear that Hunter kind of distanced himself a bit after the season. Maybe he saw the writing on the wall leading up to the draft.

I’m not sure he is overly concerned about his draft position given his wealth

Shadeur is going to have to stick to his dad side a lot longer. Dion will have to hire him as his coordinator now.

Daboll's offenses in NY haven't done shite. Fukka is lucky he still has a job....and that's the truth. He knew that Jones was unreliable and still rolled with him. He and the GM let Barkley get away.....mainly because he's been derelict in handling offensive line issues.

Dude could be the next Mahomes but it doesn’t matter if you’re not even sure he’ll play for you if you draft him.

He told some teams that he wanted to run HIS offense and now theirs.
He told some that we was interviewing them and not the other way around

This guy is toxic and it’s showing

Is anyone really going to pick him as UDFA if no one wanted to draft him?

In general, when extremely good or extremely bad things happen, it's more than one variable in play.

Arrogance? Off the charts
Prima Donna? No question
Physical tools? Good but not elite.
Bad Habits? Remember the tapping of the ball video during his workouts.
Preparedness? Reports that Colorado offense was simple
Coachability? Unwilling to discuss concepts
Negative External Forces? Deion

Maybe some of what is in this thread isn't accurate but overall, Sanders would have to be a generational type of talent to overcome the intangible negatives. And, apparently in the eyes of much of the NFL, he doesn't.

The stories after the draft will be fun to read. Underhill mentioned last night he heard some truly crazy stories.

Can’t wait for the 30 for 30 and oral history on this.

I know someone who was in an interview with him. He said it was the worst interview he's been in and that it was bizarre. Basically, there's no way we can draft that guy.

It’s so obvious that having your daddy as your coach for the past 4 years, having a cocky attitude, AND not being that great against better defenses has its effects.
