Sell the team Gayle. Do it now damnit.

Our worst fears confirmed, mates
She needs to be confronted by fans in public. If you see her in church or at Commander's, please make your voice heard. She's kept in a bubble and we owe it to ourselves to break through.

How'd you feel if it was the offensive staff he wanted to keep, but the defense can be whoever Glenn wanted?
Unequivocally No. Mickey is not a coach. He’s not even a talented GM personnel wise. Any coach that doesn’t have their own vision on what they want from an offense isn’t likely to be an overly successful coach.
His entire career was based on being able to find salary cap money before anyone else really did it. The idea that he would call the shots on either side of the ball personnel wise over his HC is some Jerry jones kinda bullshite.

There was no shot anyway. Will likely be jags or bears bound.

Maybe this is a hot take but there are certain assistants I’d like to see retained.
Rizzi and Kubiak both are good at their jobs.
I also think Marcus Robertson was fine until the wheels really fell off. We also traded away his key corner. Kinda a tough gig.
That said I would choose a solid HC and the staff of his choosing over any assistants remaining.

I dont think the offensive staff has done anything to warrent a new coach having to keep them.

It’s fine to like some assistants but also not demand a new coach retain them. It’s like what the hell is the point to even having a new head coach if you’re not going to let them implement their vision.
It’s not like Mickey is a some successful HC who moved to the front office. His career has been made off of Green Bay passing over CSP and Nick Saban and company not being sold on Drew’s health. Otherwise he’d likely have been gone a long time ago.

I still believe this is a top-down decision and Gayle is making business decisions based on coaches being "good people". It feels very odd to suddenly think Mickey Loomis is some power-hungry zealot...
Honestly think we would have been better off with Rita

What this tells me is that Loomis still delusional about this team as it is constructed. “ Just bad luck on the injury front…look at what happened the first two games…we just need a few tweaks, not an overhaul”.
Yep. Which means we’re going to age more and dig deeper in cap hell.
And miss out on a strong QB class in 2026.

Mickey doesn't want too much upheaval? So he's obviously ok with past performance if he doesn't think there should be a full rebuild.

This is the type of thinking that will make the HC job very unattractive to legitimate candidates. Coaches want "their" guys, mostly because that is the main job of a HC. Putting the right faces in the right places to carry out a specific scheme. NO just dropped to the bottom of desirable HC jobs, and that's not including the cap he'll Mickey has put us in

Sounds like someone is trying to generate traffic on their social media platforms.
I see no history to make me think this is true.

As part of the settlement Rita has minority non voting ownership shares. These need to be converted to voting immediately to provide some checks and balances to inept management and Gayle.
Furthermore, Rita’s PR team should invest in a marketing campaign to rebuild her image. Start with multiple billboards around NOLA posting the Saints and Pels record with her face and a simple question…..Miss me yet?

Loomis is absolutely destroying everything that was built here. We’re going back to being perennial losers. This man will go down as one of the most despised figures in Saints history.
