If our analytics were behind it was because HE WAS the driver in New Orleans and nothing went on without his blessing.

It's simply classless for him to mention publicly any negative thought he has against the Saints organization particularly for the way he handled leaving the team from beginning to end.

So you are mad that he’s telling the truth?

If anything you should be mad at the Saints for not keeping up.

Hey Dumbass

That POS had 100% control of football operations since day one in NOLA

He’s a POS

Been telling y’all for years.

Glad to see more people on this board catching on.

So, why didn’t he see it as behind and needing an upgrade when here? I mean he has to take the blame as the head man if we are lacking.

where was this info when they gave up a farm for russ wilson?

I hope last season broke Russell Wilson mentally and morally beyond repair for the remainder of his career.

Things like RAS or just physical profiles matter (the Saints would be idiots to draft Nolan Smith, for example)

our?

Imo Ireland needs to stray away from his "model" more often.

You will miss on players that don't fit your exact model.

Lets take a peyton turner because he fits my height, weight, and speed model. I just think guys that never stray from their model can get blinded.

Don't the Saints play a lot of nickel?

I mean I'm not trying to crap on Smith at all.

Just trying to see the fit.

Yeah on the backend.

okay.

Parsons is 6'3 248

but is Nolan Smith like Parsons?

he's 6'2 235 coming off a pec tear

If the Saints have him graded that high and he's available we'll see.

Jake was saying how the Saints don't pick edge players that are that small and he's right, they don't.

The entire Saints organization was effectively built by him. If he wanted a bigger, more efficient Analytics department, he would have created it.

Maybe the issue was or is that he didn't know how. Sometimes you do not know what you do not know.

That is why I think staying with some of his assistants so longer was our undoing. We needed some fresh perspectives.

yeah but when he canned Joe Vitt and the good ole boys it's not like we sucked after that.

Drew Brees contract fricked up our cap space and the scouting department was different then if I remember right.

I can't wait to see the Denver fan melt when they throw away next year's picks to trade up for a DE or TE from a school they've never heard of.

Right, they don't pick 235 lb edge players. If they do they transition to true linebackers.

That has nothing to do with playing nickel defense.

Speaks more to the fact that HSP and the saints didn't need walmart toys to scout talent and win a super bowl, but new toys are always fun. I didn't take this as a knock at the saints- maybe a playful one...HSP keeping it OG #gratefulforyourservices
