If the saints did trade up who do yall want them to get? I know no one wants us to trade up in general but is there a player you’d want most

That is all speculation. The Saints have done their homework setting up "what if" scenarios with other teams. If they are smart about it and don't overspend to get the guy they want, I'm fine with it. But there should be a very good player at #8 also.

Would have to be for a pass rusher right?

If you’re moving to 3 you’re absolutely giving up a future 1. After franchise qb the only positions valuable enough to give two 1s for are arguably elite pass rusher or elite WR. None of these WRs are a chase.

Don’t want to do it at all but depends on the price. If we don’t give up another first (obviously will give #8 to whoever we swap with) then could be palatable.

I'd rather trade back for more capital.

I really don't see the Saints trading away a 2nd round pick (or more) to get to #3. We would be screwed by needing a lot of help on this team and getting rid of a 2nd this year.

Seeing way too much smoke of us trading up.

I will be melting if we give up a 2027 first to move up a few spots. We are in a good spot at 8. Just hold the line

I don’t think, if we move up, it will be at 3. I could see a trade up to 5 or 6 though since it would only cost a third

It's lying season but Loomis basically said yesterday they weren't trading up. Said we're not a player away and when you have a Drew Brees you can do it but with a young qb it doesn't make sense.

The Cardinals literally gifted the Texans with Will Anderson from the #3 pick just 3 years ago. I would be targeting thier dumbass front office. If it only costs me 8 and 42 for Reese, I run to the damn podium.

Great. Let’s cough up next years first in a much better draft for a tweener guy. Not a fan. Boooooooo. My tv is not safe tonight.

If we trade 8 and 73 to move up to 3 &143 or 6 & 146 for Styles or Bailey, I’m fine with that.

I got questions on Bailey, but we need a pass rusher in the worst way. I think Styles is just special.

Anything more than a 3rd is too much for anyone IMO.

Only guy worth trading up for that would fit this team is Reese.

Other than that, just stay at 8 and get a player at that same tier but at another position.

So they think the team that historically moves up MIGHT move up and have heard of teams that WANT to trade down and viola, you have "draft notes" or "draft news."

To get to 3 would likely cost next year's 1st. Would not do it.

Reese or Bailey are the only ones you could justify, and unless we give up little, it would be a stretch.

You can't waste future capital on a RB, OLB, or S, and no WR is worth trading up for.

No shot you’re getting to 3 with 73
