they traded away the farm to get Russell Wilson.

What would be the compensation?

Jesus! It’s as if none of you even pay attention. They traded Bradley Chubb for a first round pick. They have a first rounder this year. So I’d say they have all the picks to make this happen. Im just not sure Payton wants to go there.

I don't think he's gonna have any great situations. If I were him, I would go to Houston. Get your pick of qb, and you still have 2 1st next season

“They traded the farm”. Well they have a first this year and 2 3rds this year. I’d say that would be the starting point. If there’s more teams involved then they may not have the ammo but having a first rounder is a start. Things that are also possible is a first, a 3rd, Justin Simmons or Jeudy. This is all options.

They dont have their first or seconds the next couple years. Only a late first rounder this year. And they stuck with Wilson for years.

This is going to end like every looming Loomis trade. General public expect multiple picks including a 1st, we actually get a single 3rd rounder.

Reading that Twitter thread, lots saying they should go after harbaugh. Can't say I don't see the reasoning in going harbaugh and keep picks over Sean and giving up picks

I'm just saying I'd find out just how much they want Payton.

Use as much leverage as possible.

Don't get low balled.

Payton may poach some guys from the Saints too. Jeff Ireland maybe?

CSP is in limbo. He realizes that he is a run of the mill coach without an elite QB. Teams with elite QB dont need a coach.

There's going to be no fewer than 6 teams that are in the market for him. The return should be high - anything less and he needs to stay his arse put in retirement.

When has CSP ever been successful with a QB evaluation? Every QB he picked was a complete flop.

No way he goes to Houston.

Taysom. He just didn’t know how to drive the Ferrari full time.
