Yeah it’s probably going to be a 6th or 7th. Also Nick Underhill seemed to believe Lutz was ahead by a sizeable margin through camp.

I mean even a 7th for a kicker is fine.
The writing was on the wall with the injuries Lutz had and how underwhelming he was last year. Better to go with the young leg. Grupe did well.

Better be more than a fricking 7th but Loomis will probably just give him away to his buddy. I hope we picked the right guy. Hard to go with the unknown over a guy who has been a top 5 kicker for the last 7 years. Lutz in heaven kicking in Denver. Grupe has some HUGE shoes to fill.

nope, he is still a good kicker, should easily bring us somewhere in a 5-7th round single draft pick for him, depending on how bad the team trading needs a kicker.
with how bad loomis and DA are about constantly giving payton BJs, we might even give them a pick to take him.
i expect compensation to be in the area of last pick in 7th of the draft or maybe nothing at all, or a player who wont make our PS team
