I don’t understand the hate towards him. Hate to see him go but it is what it is. That 2018 team is probably my all time favorite Saints team, a damn shame the NFL prevented us from making the SB.

He was the ringleader in the bashing of the greatest Saint of all time in the wake of all of the BLM/Anthem nonsense and then he just disappeared after signing the big contract.

Because of how Loomis works the cap, 06/01/24 is probably the soonest they can release him. Drafted in 2016, overplays rookie contract, signs a lucrative contract before 2019 season, has one of the best seasons for a WR ever in 2019. Injured early in 2020 and everything starts to fall apart. But because of how the deal is structured with the cap, all the front office can do is try to hope everything works out until they can find the right trade partner or the right time to release him. Constant injuries make him untradeable, so all we can do is sit back and wait for the best release date to remove hm from the team but not completely kill the cap.
