Good move. In recent years the guy has been constantly injured and is evidently a giant pain the arse.

But give the devil his due. As a 2nd round pick Thomas was one of the best draft picks the Saints ever made.

perfect said, and I agree 100% with all of this

Nope, it’s Marques Colston. Here is bang for your buck:

NFL draft:

2006 / Round: 7 / Pick: 252

As a player:
New Orleans Saints (2006–2015)

Toward the end of his career, he played with nerve damage in both his shoulders. His reach declined. He had an accurate QB to compensate for his later career injuries. He gave the Saints consistent play and played through his shoulder injuries.

Career NFL statistics
Receptions:
711
Receiving yards:
9,759
Receiving average:
13.7
Receiving touchdowns:
72

Colston is the greatest WR in Saints history. He played games. He didn't sit..and a 7th rd. Pick.

Best value ever..

Thomas is one angry dude and he's a millionaire. Imagine being that wealthy and so mentally challenged.

Go fishing. Wave running. Golf. Volunteer at a child's cancer center...something.

He's angry and that won't bode well after he's finished. He needs Faith.

Colston is definitely the best WR in Saints history.

But tbf he said Thomas was ONE of the best not THE best. Thomas was one of the best receivers in the NFL for a few years before he turned into glass and became an arse so I think it’s a fair statement

MT runs his mouth. AB has actual brain damage.

As much of a headcase and how often he talks out of both sides of his mouth, can you really rule out brain damage for MT? Hell, can you rule out actual brain damage for anyone that makes it to D1 football, let alone the NFL?

He’s running his mouth this morning on Twitter/X, about how he would go to the covenant house of New Orleans, and open his trunk, and donate all kinds of clothes, and shoes out of the kindness of his heart. He’s seriously a head case that needs medical evaluation.
