I said on Scoop City there are concerns about the QB position but Moore worked through it knowing the Saints are giving him time and support if he gets the job.

Russini says exactly what the tards on here are too stupid to see - that the Saints are loyal to their coach hires, which is plus for a Coach considering a job.

I reckon that I just got a little bit more interested in the super Bowl next Sunday.

Get to see KM go head to head with Spags.

I’m down for whomever Moore wants. I’d bet he goes another direction.

I bet he plucks a position coach from Fangio.

The eagles defense is elite. Tops in takeaways. Normally a turnover machine type defense is not well rounded. But Fangio has found his players and coaches to make them good at all levels.

I would look for Moore to take Christian Parker with him as DC. Very young aggressive cornerback coach.

He wasn’t the dc. He was the head coach.

He ran the D.

Even a guy like Allen had good Ds when our guys weren't injured as a HC running the D. His issues were the intangible ones like leadership, etc. (which Staley also lacked).

Staley ran the D and called the plays and they were...not good.

Then he goes to SF and they kindly ask him to leave after 1 year.

That is a possibility, although the new hot D is the one from the MacDonald tree. Don't know if any positional coaches appear to be ready for DC.

Assuming Nuss as OC, that would be a super inexperienced staff, which everyone, moving up to their role for the first time. The primary benefit of Staley to me would be a former hc on staff.

It was reported he wanted Klayton Adams (sp?) from the Cardinals as OC but he got hired by the Cowboys.

I’m guessing Moore has a good idea about the guys he wants and they won’t necessarily come from the Eagles.

I’m fine with that. Let’s get young in all phases. Just like 2006.

Let’s build a culture from the ground up. Let Moore hand pick the apples from his own future tree.

Could he do worse than Davenport, Turner. Foskey with a Dart Board?

Moore is working on a staff. Sounds like its a done deal but "not one" because it can't be by league rules

A LOT

Moore will probably build the offense and defend defensive decisions to someone else, while still having final say

Yeah no shite. That’s not my question.

There are not many HC’s that run as de facto GM’s.
There’s a reason. Look at chip Kelly’s time in Philly.

A couple of whiff’s doesn’t mean you give the keys to the full control of the players on the field.

Like what? Every HC was a coordinator at one point. They know ball regardless of the title

Meet with Moore?
For Mickey's sake, this better be signed, sealed and delivered.
If not, I would like to be Moore's agent right now because he has them over a barrel.

Once again you are cherry picking. He had one season where his only responsibility was defense and they were the best.

So he was calling plays in SF now even though he wasn’t the DC? The guy who was fired was replaced with Saleh. His title was just asst coach. He might not have had any responsibility regarding the defense. You are just implying and don’t know.

Great example, we were dead last in the league this year before he was fired. And we didn’t have notable injuries.

Defense has steadily gone down since he took over as HC. It was just masked somewhat the last couple years b/c he’s had the easiest schedule in the league.

This year he played a harder schedule and was dead last. So thanks for making my point…

I mean as terrible as this organization is currently I can’t imagine they’d let this out there if it weren’t done…if you waited until after the SB to get turned down publicly, that’d be a pretty terrible look for a FO that really doesn’t need another one
