Like usual the Saints get stuck with the ugly chick. Looks like I’m gonna be watching a lot of Bengals games this year.

probably can't with comments like that it's obvious his peepee is way too small to pull that off

He was 5-2 as a starter and had 3 INTs.

He was fine. We were a little too conservative, and he wasn't special, but he was fine.

This was clearly a bridge contract.

I'm pulling for Jameis. You can tell he wants it and he's working for it.

He just has to make it manifest on the field.

Excellent value and the best outcome for us at this juncture. Gives us some stability for the first couple years with the new regime and a short team friendly deal for Jameis to work his way back from injury and prove if he can lead the franchise.

If not, we have still resources to seek a QB through the draft or trade.

And still money left over to fill some positions of need. Win win contract

Any true fan of the team is rooting for the same thing.

Winston really humbled himself and it’s sucks that his season was derailed. I want nothing but success for the guy.

I always said it was going to be between 10-15 mil a year.

He played for 5 mil last year plus some incentives.

Would rather James Cook in the middle rounds of the draft. Less wear & tear & very good fit pairing him with Kamara.

Now, here's the strange question. With Loomis clearing all of that money for Watson, does he front load Winston's contract so it isn't much of a hit if they move on for '23?

Go get Armstead, Jarvis Landry and a RB like Ronald Jones or Melvin Gordon. Would like to bring in another guard as well. Looks like we missed out on every decent TE left, so we are going to need to draft somebody.

I see them going guard or tackle early in the draft. You have to account for ruiz. If they go tackle I'd kick hurst inside and let him battle ruiz.

If they go guard in the 2md or 3rd round then you just let hurst play lt

2018 rams and 2019 49ers made a super bowl with avg qbs. I think we could do the same if we address LT, WR, RB, and hit on 3 of 4 top 3 round picks

Jameis was way too gun shy and I'm guessing that was at least partly due to Payton. He can't be YOLO but the training wheels have to be off.

I'm sure having Thomas and another real target would help

Jameis is betting on himself again. He is still young & knows that him playing well with this deal means he will be able to cash out on his next deal.

All in all, the Saints win out big in the NFC with Jameis at QB. He's easily a top 5 QB in the conference. He may be the best QB not named Brady or Stafford in the NFC.
