2 year, 35 million is what I would expect, though would be nice if they could convinse him to take the same contract as Mitch Trubisky (2 year, 15 million)

Not a bad deal. We can still go draft a QB. Still don't think he leads us to any place of significance but he can be an adequate placeholder.

A little more than I expected, but this is fine for a starting QB.
Its also only a 2 year deal so its clearly a bridge deal to a rookie QB, or if he blows up and does extremely well he can get a "real" deal.

Go get Armstead, Jarvis Landry and a RB like Ronald Jones or Melvin Gordon. Would like to bring in another guard as well. Looks like we missed out on every decent TE left, so we are going to need to draft somebody.

I don't think he leads us anywhere like a top QB can do with minimal talent. But I think with him just making the correct decisions and throws we can make it far considering the team round him. We just need to get some WRs and oline depth.
