The right side of our OL is not good. Fuaga got worse going back to his natural spot at RT but I think his back injury could be more to blame. He could have been called for 15 false starts last week but the refs let him get away with leaving his stance early. We still need to invest more draft capital to our interior OL and DL. I think Fuaga’s play improves when he gets a better RG next to him but Ruiz has to go after this year.

Saint should be banned from drafting OL. Stick to FA.

Kendre Miller was half assing it out there compared to the preseason. Glad my boys at PFF didn't cut him any slack.

Ruiz is garbage. He's built like a bowl of instant mashed potatoes. We'd be a better team without him.

Where the hell was our 3rd Rd Pick, The Big Tuna, Oscar Delp?

We can't keep wasting picks. We got Kris Tyson at 1, Miller at 2 (at least he played) and Tuna Fish Delp at 3. Where the hell was he?

Delp was inactive with an injury.

Broughton Looked good. We need as much help on the DL as we can get.

I’m really starting to be concerned about Fuaga. Ruiz grade doesn’t surprise me, par for the course for him

Shough had literally the worst first 40 minutes of a game a QB could possibly had and wound up grading out at 75 ... amazing

Also, why are we starting our two worst players?

DT Nathan Shepherd: 30.5. .
DT Davon Godchaux: 34.6.

Ruiz is a consistent fixture on these "worst performance of the week" lists. As some point isn't it reasonable to try Wright there? Yes, he's a rookie. Yes, the knock on him is that he is "raw". But could he really perform that much worse than Ruiz?

Its a little concerning, but it could be that Ruiz is so bad its dragging him down from mediocre to bad

I am glad you noticed all the false starts by Fuaga. It was driving me crazy.

Ruiz should have been cut like 3 years ago. He’s awful and always has been.

Maybe we can bench Ruiz and slide Fuaga inside to get better use of Fuaga.

Perhaps we have a young OT on the bench who can step up to at least Fuaga level. Then move Fuaga over to RG. Someone during the year will be needing OL help perhaps lol

I'd be interested in where Vale came in at. I thought he had a fantastic game.

They probably gave him credit for some of those incompletions that were drops (5 or 6 of his 12 incompletions were drops), and may not have dinged him too harshly for the 1-2 plays where him and the WR were not on the same page.

His new restructure all but guarantees he's in the black & Gold next year. Currently has a $16.3M cap hit for 2027, and cutting him only saves $565k.

The goal would be to have someone step in as his replacement on the starting o-line, then he'll become a highly compensated backup

our OL should be elite with the resources we've put into it over the years
