What else do you expect it to say? That he's been signed or plans on signing?

I really wish Murray signing with the Eagles would have happened a day or two later as far as the Saints/Spiller are concerned.

I think it's not a story unless it tells us where Spiller ate when he was in nola.

Dallas might just be better of drafting a Melvin Gordon. The Running back market has kind of tried up. At least I hope that's what they plan on doing

I just don't see how we are balanced with this sort of attack. I love the idea of having Ingram and Spiller, but we need some WR help to pull defenders out of the box so we can actually throw to him. I am still extremely high on Cooks. Colston is old, Stills is a deep threat, and Toon is well... Nick Toon. If we sign Spiller, a WR/receiving TE becomes imperative early. That will bring our needs in the draft to G/ILB/OLB/TE-WR/DL. I don't think it's smart having so many holes, but it might just be where we are. Would be outstanding if we could solidify 1-2 more positions before we get there. Just to the point where we don't "have" to take one.

I really hope we sign him, as well. He is a dynamic player and I just don't think he fit in very well in Buffalo.

Dallas still has quite a few options to bring a decent or below average RB that could potentially upgraded to above average to good behind their damn good o-line, and still be on the cheap side about it......If I was Dallas (and I know it might not pan out due to his career so far) I would bring in Trent Richardson on a 1yr cheap deal and see if he could possibly do anything behind that o-line, I know he hasn't done crap so far but he was a top 3 pick just a few years ago so it's hard to believe that there is no system he couldn't be competent in........The other options for Dallas could be Darren McFadden, Ray Rice, Steven Jackson, or Knowshon Moreno, any of those guys could be had on a 1yr cheap deal which would still allow them to take a RB high in the draft if they wanted to, but not necessarily have to......Now I know there are reasons to believe that none of those guys could be real productive, but they all have some potential, especially behind that o-line

Dwayne Bowe is still available and will certainly be cheap.

We will almost certainly draft one too. I agree with your sentiment. I think WR is a hole, but it's not something Im worried about. I think we will bring some guys in

Payton stated on NFL.com he was already impressed with the depth at WR in this years draft

I'm not usually a grammar Nazi, but this sentence is just wrong. The Saints can't have "mutual interest" in CJ. They have mutual interest in each other. Its the definition of mutual.

Lol I'd love to see anyone stack the box with Drew Brees play action. That's honestly where Brees has been at his greatest, when defenses come down to focus on the run.

I really hope we get Spiller. I think he'll add a lot of energy and depth to this team. We need that
