Seeing a lot of mocks forecasting Breese to be there for us in the 1st… I think he’s good but wouldn’t hate taking Kancey from Pitt over Breese.

With our 2nd pick id love BJ Ojulari there. Not only is he a great kid and leader, but he’s a good pass rusher, solid run defender and can work and learn behind Cam Jordan to eventually replace him.

I think right now DL is our most glaring hole on the team and these 2 picks would help sure up the rotations this year, and set us up for the future as well.

You have to take qb out of Tennessee with the second pick. If Carr goes down later in the season we are right back to where we started

That’s why we brought Jameis back.

Unless Dennis Allen changes his philosophy, we always have big strong DEs that are good against the run, not smaller quicker types that are weak against the run. Some Ojulari draft profiles have him transitioning to a stand up rusher.

While I think we need pass rushers, I don't see Allen picking that type of DE.

That's a horrible reason to take him. You take him if you believe he will be a legit starter in this league, not based on injuries.

Unlike almost all other positions, QBs aren't just rotated into playing time. If he isn't that good, his value is worthless.

Whether they think Hooker can start or not is the only question. Doesn't have to be year 1.

That's called the NFL. Where is KC if Mahomes goes down? Where is Cincinnati if Burrow goes down? Maybe they should waste an early draft pick on Hooker. Sigh.

Yah he’s 6’3 250 but I think he can get up to 270 and not lose much quickness. You may be right on him though as far as fit, but I’d still like to see us go DT/DE to sure up our weakest position

I doubt he'll be there.

Im down for drafting two dlinemen with the top two picks. BJ is great but isn’t a fit

The kid from northwestern that blew up the combine would be a nice DE pick

There was an article on saints wire suggesting the big DEs were Sean's philosophy more than Allen's. Talked about an allen de pick at raiders.

Don’t get the Kancey love. It’s helmet scouting at its finest. I’ve seen people compare him to Aaron Donald based on nothing else except he’s an undersized DT from Pitt with nice measurables.

Donald’s production at Pitt makes a Kancey look like a JV player. Don’t get the post combine ascension.

CERTAINLY not our edge profile

The 2 guys we signed had iffy run grades by PFF. If we had a Malcom Brown-type we could select that guy for DI, but I don't know if we could stop the run with our 2 signings, Roach + Adebawore manning the defensive interior.

Think LaRoi Glover without Norman Hand

He's probably going to end up in a hybrid role in a 3-4

Had a few mock drafts with us ending up with Van Ness in the first and Kancey in the 2nd. That draft would be money.

Allen is all in on Carr. Saints will draft someone in 2nd round that can play now not a back up qb.

Other than cam our DEs have more miss than hits... We might need to try some pass rushing ends that can get to And when you need them to in the 4th qtr

I'd prefer IOL with the 2nd or 3rd pick.
I really think we need 2 in this draft unless Penning or Hurst have the ability to move inside.
Penning has the attitude of a road grade.

Adebawore in round 1 and Ika in round 2. Sign Ingram and Houston to 1-year deals and have a real rotation.

Eh. Like Underhill has said before..this was the case with Payton but we don’t know if DA is going to hold DE prototypes the same way as Payton as far as drafting. Most likely he will but DA likes versatilities and maybe he wants to inject some speed off the edge instead of having…whatever that shite has been for the last two years
