I think everyone on this board likes Landry and sees him as someone that would help. But there are some of us that also see how much he will cost, and believe it would be best to use that money elsewhere.

I wouldn’t break the bank for a WR unless Brees told me to do it.

This dude is speculating that Mark Ingram could be the bait for Jarvis Landry. Interesting.

quote:

The Saints are interesting in that they already have a true No. 1 receiver in Michael Thomas. Adding Landry would create one of the best receiver groups in the league. Pure conjecture here, but running back Mark Ingram could be bait to lure the Dolphins into a trade. Miami is said to be interested in adding a running back, either via the draft or free agency this offseason.

Until this year I would say trade him, but I am now a MI fan.

wait, so now we're not only going to overpay for a slot guy but we're also going to give up a very valuable pick?!?!?

Just a clickbait article. A player/player trade would be insanely rare.

If they trade half of one of the most productive running back duos in NFL history, Brees will tell them to frick off, he's testing FA, and he'll be justified in doing so.

We need a solid WR2 this offseason but Jarvis is not worth the money.

Ontop of that, you'd then need to draft another RB.

It'd be absolutely stupid

frick that, Ingram has to be one of the most under appreciated backs in the entire league. Dude runs harder than almost any other back in the league.

Love Juice and think he is worth a lot of money ($12-14 million), but absolutely no way in hell would I ever be okay with trading Ingram for him. The Ingram/Kamara duo is what made this offense great, only one severely hampers it.

Instead of calling me names, how about you explain to me why we should trade valuable picks and spends a lot of cap money on Landry?

Douche bag.

We need to sell the farm for a chance at a Superbowl the next two years. If we play the careful long game, we're going to end up probably with an old and tired out Brees and nothing behind him. Sell the kitchen sink NOW and deal with the aftermath 2 or 3 years down the line. We have to WIN NOW. Unless you think another Drew Brees is waiting in the wing, we get Juice and go get that second Superbowl.

Landry isn't going to fix all these problems that would make us a championship team.

I can think of better ways than to spend a 3rd round pick and 16m
