He should go to Chicago for a 2nd round pick, and they should renegotiate his contract. We shouldnt give anything more than a fourth for him. There are so many other cheaper options for us to look at in FA.

We really need two passing threats...not sure we should break the bank for just one.

I think it's important to note that one has had Brees and Brady throwing to him and the other Tannehil and Cutler.

But you dont think it's important to note that Jarvis Landry averages 142 targets a year to Brandin Cooks 107..

Jarvis Landry had FORTY SEVEN more catches than Brandin Cooks did. And still had less yards

As we already know, 4.72 speed dont eat

Again, WIllie Snead on a per touch basis was way more efficient than Landry was in 2016. So hmmm, pay Landry and give up a pick(lol frick no) or give Snead a full offseason to regain the form we came to know in 2015 & 2016.

After years of watching mickey loomis frick our cap up you people still dont learn

Not just Rap saying it anymore.

quote:

According to Adam Beasley of the Miami Herald, it would be a "stunner" if the Dolphins did not trade franchise player Jarvis Landry in the next few weeks. Per Beasley, the Dolphins remain "open" to signing Landry to a long-term deal but a trade remains the "likeliest outcome." The Ravens should be in the mix for Landry after attempting to trade for him last year. Beasley also mentioned the Browns, who own six of top 65 picks in the upcoming draft, and the 49ers as possible suitors. If the Dolphins can't trade Landry in the coming weeks, it would severely limit their options in free agency.

That was two years ago. The question is, do you bet that Snead can get back to that? It's probably the biggest of mystery of the 2017 season WTF happened to him. With Cooks gone he should have probably easily topped 80 caches.

Even if he gets 50 catches that’s valuable. We don’t need Jarvis landry

Agreed. We need to continue to find solid players in FA like we have the last two years and then draft good players in the draft. I’m all for spending big in FA but it should be done cautiously and without getting into too many bad, big contracts

would be a total waste of picks and money.

we already have plenty of players that move the chains underneath.

Go get Sammy Watkins.

I think getting Landry even under a new deal at 12 million per season is a slap to Thomas who we will have to pay in a few years.
