Taysom's current contract goes...

2024: 1.21mil base, 7.986mil prorated bonus (9.2mil cap hit). 25.7mil dead, lose additional 16.5mil if cut

2025: 10mil base, 7.986mil prorated bonus (17.99mil cap hit). 17.7mil dead, 277k gained
- Long story short, he aint leaving.
- End of contract

Money borrowed/cap hit regardless
2026: 9.72mil
2027: 3.96mil

According to Nick it went from 15.7 mil cap hit to 6.8 mil cap hit. Would seem like something is in the works.

It’s cap manufacturing. Get over yourself.

Has to be to trade for a player at a position of need. Why else would they need to add a few million in cap space at this time of the year?

So much for the soft reboot.

Restructuring Hill and Kamara's deals is getting the fricking band back together, boys.

Yeah that part doesn't make much sense.

I have to imagine these 2 restructures are tied to confidence that we're not trading Latt, because if we still trade Latt these moves would be batshit insane.

Brees did say that if his right arm still worked, he had a few more years. And he's been spending a lot of time with Cam, maybe

I kinda like that they waited to do this. He's in camp now and the new offensive staff is probably talking about how they can use him

Luke Johnson is reporting that Kamara was not at camp today and that it’s contract related FWIW

At this point he probably just needs to play TE. Johnson isn’t really setting the world on fire like we hoped he would.

I want to say that I saw a possible defensive player that we could target that would be a big help. Not sure where I saw it though.
