I need yall to understand that if Mike is healthy he is the best wr on this team by far and top 5 in the league. His suddenness didn't disappear because his feet are a little fricked up. He's never had a knee issue.

Hes gonna come back and dust this fricking league up. I'm excited.

Sounds great for MT. Sounds like wasting 10 mil though to me.

Better than wasting the 30 something million it would have cost the team if they had to cut him before Thursday.

Now he gets 10mil to prove to someone he's worth more then no matter what happens he's someone else problem in 2024.and the Saints are out from under the albatross of a contract he had.

This board semi freaks out when we lost decent players, but also gets mad when we get a great player back. Thomas is better than everyone we lost by far.

Now let's address dline

It hurts to know he led the league in receptions and yards after signing his 100 mil deal

So how does this work exactly? Didn't he already have a contract with the team through 2024 previously, then recently redo his contract, and now this one?
So the previous two were ripped up?
How much was he paid from previous deal(s) and when do those stop and this one takes effect? I'm just curious how the language works with that and the guaranteed money and how it transfers with multiple contract reworks like that.

So now what is his cap hit this year?

I love this deal by the way

Missed only one game in his first 4 seasons. Set the NFL season record for receptions- All Pro - Offensive NFL
Player of the year. The year after he got paid.

Does this mean if he walks after the upcoming season he’s completely off the books?

It’s crazy because they know this, and still make these dumb statements that he’s lazy and doesn’t want to be here, etc. Completely idiotic and uninformed.

Respect for Thomas. He really tested the team with his attitude at ti es but you can’t deny he has a great work ethic and wants to be here. I hope he is healthy and has a huge year.

Incentive? Damn right lol.
If it's one year then good. If he balls out he can go get his dream gig.

Who's the "great player" you're talking about? Michael Thomas is as soft as baby shite. He's going to be limping around by week 2.
