I’d be down with Jalon Walker. Just wouldn’t get the move if it was Mykel or some other edge considering the contract Young just got

I've come to the realization that whatever move Loomis will make will be the wrong one in any situation

I’m hearing this as well from a local media member. At least that’s what people in the building think. Choose to believe or not.

This. Also there's no chance a marginal qb in his mid 30s is getting unneeded surgery on his throwing shoulder, which further diminishes his value.

Yeah in the initial thread I commented asking about his surgery plan and the doctors involved. I don't think there is a shoulder injury that would keep him out all year without surgery now (and even then, most wouldn't keep him out close to all year).

His best chance of this was here.
NYG, the most talked about potential destination before they signed Wilson? Bridge.

He could be given that by reworking his deal and giving up a significant amount of his guaranteed money making a trade feasible. Not sure if there would be a push against it or outright block of it by the NFLPA, but buyouts should be an acceptable options for teams in situations like this if the player agrees.

I got the same feeling but think Moore wants tyler warren at #9 then trade back in late 1St for qb

Carr is faking an injury per the Saints FO direction. They want teams to jump ahead of them to grab QBs.
No.

It's not at the front office's direction.

I would not be opposed to trading/cutting Carr, riding Rattler and getting a better pick next year for a potentially better QB class. Maybe get out from under some bad contracts and be able to get much better in one year.

If Carr is proven to be faking an injury I wonder if that would essentially end his NFL career if it’s proven he is faking?

Only exception may be rotator cuff surgery. That can be anywhere from approximately 4-8 month heal time. Saying that, that would be an issue they should have figured out last season unless he did something away from football that hurt it recently. Still though, could have surgery in early April and have a good 6 months or so before season starts

That doesn't make sense to me ?
Why would he fake an injury this late in hopes to going somewhere else ?
What team would want a QB in his 30's with a shoulder injury? And he wants to be the starter ?
I don't like Carr and not trying to defend him, but doesn't seem like a smart plan if real

Nobody has ever accused Carr of being a brainiac.

I interpret it as if Shedeur drops to #9, they are taking him. If not, they will take an edge rusher.
