Ok

So when I give receiving yards rankings, I actually posted the correct rankings, I actually did

Why are you fighting me when we actually agree for once?

But you replied to a person making a point about being a top 10 WR. Not Top 10 Receiving Person

88 million over 6 years... That is steep for just a one trick pony that stretches the field. Anyway good for him.

He must have killed it in OTA's.

No full contact in the OTAs.

Makes sense.

This will begin their downfall, giving him that much money when so many other of their great players need extensions

You really don’t think he benefited from playing in the Saints or Patriots offense?

Sure he did

But here is a list of the top 10 wide receivers for yards

Antonio Brown
Julio
Keenan Allen
Hopkins
thielan
thomas
fitz
jones
Cooks

Most of those guys have a good offense/qb throwing to them

Is what it is.

He’s still not at all worth the contract he got (currently 4th highest paid wr). He’s at very best a fringe top 10 WR.

And he is a fringe top 10 wr that just signed the most recent contract

Other guys at his level or better will get more than him when they ink a new deal

Who knew having an elite QB makes his WRs better.

Cooks is already an elite route runner as well as having deep threat speed.

If cooks got $16 million/year, Michael Thomas will get around $22-$24 million

Then Brees retires and we bitch about how bad of a contract Thomas is bc he’s so reliant on Brees to be effective
