Idk about Prisco but Finebaum is an effing genius. He basics pokes animals in a cage and then sits back as they fight and growl. All the while getting huge ratings.
Skip Bayless does the same thing. His schtick is to always take the other side even if it is unpopular. Tons of people calling you an idiot means thats tons of people are listening/watching your stuff.

Look at the audience he has, doesn't take much. Some of the callers are just trying to play a character and have fun with it. But every once in a while, you hear someone who just doesn't get it. Harvey Updyke did a lot for that show. I'll bet if he didn't poison Toomers Corner, they would not have done that documentray Roll Tide/War Eagle, which sucked by the way.

Saints were on the 23 yd line. Brees needed 22 yds for the record. Scoring was basically the only way to get the record.

Well the Falcons had been shutting Drew Brees out for a good portion of the 2nd half. They had a right to do that, but Brees didn't have the right to go for it?
It wasn't meaningless either. If I'm Payton, I can see that my quarterback is pushing to get the record, and I don't want that hanging over his head the following week.

The only thing you could question Payton on was risking injury to Brees in meaningless point of the game.
