His arm strength, pocket presence and ball placement is impressive. Would be nice to see him in the B&G.

He can really throw the ball. His motion is bad though... will that hurt him in the nfl?

He spins it really well, would love to see the Saints draft him.

He is elite at stepping up into the pocket and keeping composure- Brees and Burrow are the other 2 elites at this. No way he makes it to Saints, but a boy can dream...

Problem is they play against actual defenses in the NFL and he’s never seen one

Both Stafford and Mahomes have unconventional throwing motions. He's an interesting prospect and this year's draft will be an odd one for QBs so he might be one that falls. But he's put solid showings out there every chance he got, I doubt he falls far enough for the Saints to pick.

Consolation prize if we can’t get Daniels.

His ball placement has been spectacular tonight. Really impressive performance.

What number is he projected to get drafted?

I think he will be good in the league if he cleans up his technique some with a good QB coach.

I’ve said before I think he falls in this draft. There are already 3 quarterbacks going high. He will be there when we pick.

Any QB throwing the ball down field with any sort of accuracy looks so appealing right now

After watching him tonight I’ll riot if he is somehow on the board when the saints pick and the saints pass on him.

Penix is an nfl QB. No doubt about it.

He will have to at least improve it.

Technique isn’t great. But accuracy and quick decision making are elite. Two most important traits for a QB.

Texas didn’t get much pressure but when they did Penix seemed to know how to throw away from it early or move away from it early.

I wouldnt get my hopes up. If we are keeping DA, and that seems like a given, then they will want to go more all in to next year. Meaning theg wont draft a qb in the first. Sorry.

So funny. Penix will be a better pro than Daniels.

Forget Penix, he'll be long gone...

Go get Washington's offensive coordinator

Texas’ defense is good, their DL in particular has been very good all season
