Olave extension: Predictions

Drake London now the 3rd highest paid WR with a 4/141 extension @ $35.25mil per year.
That guarantees Olave will be in the range of $33-$37mil right?
I predict 4/145.
Thought it would be closer to 4/135 before the London news. Not sure how injuries will play into the conversation but he's probably better than London and this won't help.

This is exactly why we should have gotten this extension done a month ago, but I expect he will be just over London is terms of AAV.

Hopefully they’ll just tell him to not let the door hit him in the arse on the way out.

More polished maybe. London is a more talented player with higher upside

I couldn't go more than 33 for Olave. Even at 33, he equals DK Metcalf and surpasses Amon-Ra and Tee Higgins, among others. Over 33, he gets into the Justin Jefferson convo.
London's deal is just insane, and ATL will have to pay Bijan too.
What a world we live in.

Not so sure about that.
London:
62g/ 60gs/ 3,961yds/ 22TD/ 8.0 ytg
Catch: 309/497 62.2%
Olave:
55g/44gs/ 3,728yds/ 19TD/ 8.2 ytg
Catch: 291/457 63.7%
London with 7 extra games and only +3 TD's/ 233yds. Olave also left early in atleast 4 games. Olave is better, London is healthier.
This is Olave's last 3 games with Shough. I'll take that upside > London.
3gm/ 352yds/ 4 TDs
Catch: 24/ 36 66.7%

Olave is smart and knows that waiting gets him more money. We couldn't force him to sign an extension

He is signed before game 1.
How much hell it was 30 mil per.

You guys get way too hung up on overall dollar totals and comparing it to other players or previous deals
If Olave gets $33m (and im not saying he should), that would be less than 11% of the salary cap
That would put Olave at around 7 highest in the league ... which is where he finished in yards last season, even with Rattler throwing to him for half a season

Would be a huge mistake.

Seems like you think they won't play into the conversation.
