Back shoulder throw to mt on sideline
Going through progression to MT13 record breaking catch
Deep pass in playoff game
Not including the designed runs and rpo he does

I agree that taysom has grown and is a better passer than people are giving him credit for but it's funny when you say he grew.
Then your boy says he threw 7 passes

I'm telling you that as of right now, Teddy has proven he's better than Taysom.

Well, when the Saints let him go that will be 2 franchises that have moved on from Teddy. I like Teddy, glad he was a Saint. He is a mediocre NFL QB. With Taysom, there is still hope for a winner.

Minnesota moved on from him Bc they weren’t sure if he could fully return from that leg injury. Saints are moving on from him Bc it makes no sense to give him $15M+ for him to sit on the bench for an extra season or 2 before he takes over. And if you wanna say “hope for a winner”, Teddy literally just stepped in and went 5-0 this season. You don’t have to hope for winner with him, he’s shown he is a winner. I’m not sitting here saying he’s a top 10 QB or anything like that I’m ultimately just trying to put into perspective this stupid arse argument between Bridewater and Hill. Because as of right now there’s no definitive way you can say Hill is better than Bridgewater. That’s not saying 4 years from now that’ll be the same, but for now it’s not even a debate. We’ve seen Taysom be able to run, catch, and tackle consistently but we’ve yet to see him have to make reads and throw the ball consistently. But yet we have a bunch of dumbasses that wanna sit here and say that he’s leaps and bounds better than Bridgewater and that hes so good we should just move on from Brees. I swear to Christ some fans want to go back to the days of Aaron Brooks, Billy Joe Tolliver, and Bobby Douglas. And hell maybe we deserve that because there’s a majority of the fan base that has taken 9 for granted.

I sort of agree with you but not for the same reason.

I don't think the problem is Brees. I think the problem is very obviously Sean Payton. And I actually think Sean Paytons most valuable person on the team outside of maybe Jeff Ireland.

When Brees is in the game Sean calls a completely different offense. That offense is high-risk high-reward. Without a second receiver and a true passing threat at the tight end position, that offense is more risk than reward. Plus the defense plays completely different with the brees offense versus the teddy offense. I actually like the conservative, grind it out and win with defense offense that Sean was calling with Teddy Bridgewater. It was obviously more effective in producing wins.

Let me just throw this at you:
If Payton is the problem and we decided to let him go, who’s to say we’d be better off? Bc unless Joe Brady wants to come back to New Orleans or a top 10 HC in the league wants to make the jump down the bayou, i think it’d be very moronic to do that.

Saints fans like you piss me off. Have you forgotten what Drew has done for this team? Not to mention he’s still better than Bridgewater right now on his worst day. Teddy is a great guy and a good starting QB but he’s not elite. He won 5 games for us but we also had the defense playing lights out at that time and leaned HEAVILY on the run game to take pressure off o Teddy. Have you forgotten the Latavius Murray games? Taysom is the heir apparent Sean has made that clear now. If you don’t like it follow Teddy to Tampa or Miami or wherever he goes and be a fan of that team.

Ahh...but the touch!!

Come on, be serious, folks, the heir apparent to Brees is not on this team right now.

Point to where I said we should get rid of Sean Payton.

In the very same line I said that Sean Payton is maybe the most valuable person in the organization. That doesn't mean he doesn't have weaknesses. He's an aggressive play-caller in a former quarterback. When Drew Brees is in there he's full of confidence and wants to throw the ball downfield but Drew is losing his deep ball accuracy and the Saints don't have enough viable receiving threats to just air it out three out of four plays.

The way this team is built right now, they'd be more successful if they ran the ball a little more and there's some value in having a less successful quarterback in this offense because it puts more onus on the defense and they obviously know how to rise to the occasion. We saw it last year with Teddy.

Putting Drew Brees in a Sean Payton offense is like handing a gun nut a selectable fire weapon and telling him he needs to shoot it in single fire mode only. A guy like Teddy Bridgewater is Sean Paytons blunderbuss.

Teddy has won 65% of his starts
He’s also complied 65% of his passes

Two numbers Hill will never match
