I think OT is the right move in the 1st this year if our #1 WR target is gone and pick up at least 2 WR in the next 2 rounds.

First two picks are home runs. White is a good pick in round 3. Tindall would be a good pick in round 3 as well. I don’t like the Belton pick as much as the others, but overall that would be a great draft for the Saints

Mickey Loomis has a proven track record of taking offensive and defensive lineman in the first round.

The outliers are DBs (Lattimore, VAccaro, Patrick Robinson and Jenkins), with the occasional skill player (Cooks and Ingram)

I think it is safe to say, with our roster, we will be taking an OT in the first, unless there is a run on them and a top 10 guy drops to us.

1) should be traded for three 3rd rnd picks
2) should be traded for two 3rd round picks or three 4th rnd picks

there are no players available in 1st or 2nd rounds when we pick, that you cant find an equal value player in rounds 3 and 4 this year

if there ever was a draft that screams the smart move is to trade down, this is it

Big safety (6'1-210) from Iowa. Left college after his junior year. Projecte4d in rounds 4-5. 4.6 40. I don't think he'll get drafted before round 5 and he'd be strictly depth and ST for the Saints. Coverage is his weakness

Cross is expected to go a lot higher.

If he made it to us i'd take him.

And I want us to go WR more than anyone.

This team needs weapons in the outside, replacing Armstead is a great idea, but the need for receivers is pressing.

Pretty much a home run there.

Cross was projected as like a top 5 pick...

Wtf is going on? Getting him would be the holy grail in this draft

Seems to me the trend has gone to load up at the skill positions and plug in the o-line later. I’d say the last 4-5 super bowl championships had very average o-line play. At some point the Saints need to stop drafting guys that are limited in athleticism on the outside. As we’ve learned over the years drafting a great o-lineman is just as big of a crapshoot as drafting any other position.

No way he makes it to 18 imo. I love cross as a player.
