Ranking every team by their QB history
I was expecting to see the Saints in the 20s with comments such as "Brees, Manning, and Hebert cannot make up for the garbage that is everyone else in their history", but it puts them at #16 overall all-time with some nice comments on Archie and Bobby.

When Bobby Herbert is the 3rd qb mentioned, it's amazing we aren't in the bottom 5.

The video doesn't put much stock into short term rentals, such as Montana with KC and Manning with Denver. Look how low Tampa is with TB12 in the mix.

That's unfair. He had a very good completion percentage for his era and didn't throw a lot of picks. He just couldn't make the big throws in the playoffs when the Saints needed them.

I don't get Buffalo that low. If you go Top 3-4 guys they had Jack Kemp, Joe Ferguson, Jim Kelly, and now Josh Allen and a whole lot of nothing. The Saints had Archie, Hebert, Brooks, and Brees and a whole lot of nothing. Arguably, all four of the Bills listed are better than Archie and they are definitely better than Brooks and Hebert.

Joe Theismann - he was pretty good too. In 1982 and 1983, that team was unbeatable
Doug Williams and Mark Rypien were also pretty good for them, albeit for a smaller period of time. But those top 3 are pretty darn good.

A few breaks in the playoffs go the other way, Bert Jones could have had Baltimore in the Super Bowl. One of his teams was victim to the Ghost to the Post play.
As far as Earl Morrall, he has 2 unfortunate things in his career. First, he gets the blame for the Colts' poor start in Super Bowl III. Unitas always said that if he starts that game Baltimore wins, although I think such comments disrespect how good the Jet defense was that season. Also, Earl Morrall played most of the season for the Dolphins 1972 undefeated team. Griese was their normal QB and played the Super Bowl, but he was hurt most of the year. Morrall doesn't get near enough credit for that season.
