I had to guess, Saints will not be involved in FA much until the 2nd or even 3rd wave of Free Agency.

How could we be? We’re barely cap compliant. You in the mood to kick more cans?

So why did the bear sign him to a multi-year deal? I kind of thought that maybe his best days were behind him

I'm using Mickey's own words. He said we would be aggressive in FA.

That has nothing to do with what I want

The Texans have been wanting to trade him for some reason.

He is still a good player at 29. Some of these contracts are crazy tho.

Dyami brown for 10mil guaranteed up to 12 mil.

Yeah Washington is getting really aggressive.

Can't really hold it against them though Daniel's looks like he's going to be the real deal.

Deebo wasn't his usual self last year with the 49ers and they went and got him. Lattimores best years are behind him. He's the best corner the Saints have ever had but I think they got the timing of this thing right actually.

As they should. If you got a stud rookie QB you need to go all in and take advantage of that rookie contract. Then restructure the team and value draft picks when his 2nd deal hits, cuz that’s when you need cheap contracts to put around him

Smart to be aggressive while you’re getting premium QB play on a rookie deal.

Washington has been in the top 10 of the draft for the last 20 years.. hasn't helped much

I’m guessing their next 20 years will be much more productive than ours. They wisely sold the team when they had a shite owner. We need to learn that lesson.
