Nakobe Dean has a leg. Except it's a pec muscle. He wants to rehab it w/o surgery

At this point in the draft just write his rookie season off and start prepping for him to essentially be an extra 2023 first round pick

It may be the reason he doesn't want surgery. If teams are afraid the situation might come up with other injuries down the line.

Dean was the best LB in the SEC last year. Having 3 1st rounders on the d-line was likely a big reason he was so dominant.

Oh yeah he was a great college player, but smaller LBs need to be the right scheme fit, so they naturally fall a bit. Combined with his medicals it makes sense.
Reminds me of JOK last year who was mocked in the 1st round and went 3/4th round to Browns.

Teams that past on him that had needs at the true ILB position will regret it. Although a little on the short side for some teams to like he has all the ability to make plays in coverage and close quickly sideline to sideline and fill the holes on the line against the run.
Other than his physical ability he has the intelligence to fit perfect as a field general for most teams. Dude majored in mechanical engineering. I for one put a ton into smarts at specific positions and ILB is one of them.
Orrrrr you can make a pick in the first round like the Saints did just a few years back at linebacker dude was 6'3 and 245lbs dumb as a box of rocks and now out of the league(Initials SA). Anyway point being is unless ND has long term health issues he is a starter in a year or 2 and probably a pro bowl type player. Great pick Eagles
