Per Underhill
quote:

Saints WR Michael Thomas (ankle) was limited during today's practice. T Terron Armstead missed due to a hand injury. He played with a cast/heavy wrap on his thumb against the Chargers.

Even if mt misses, I feel good about our wr’s/te’s against the panthers secondary. If brees is on, he will pick them apart. I expect kamara to have his biggest game of the year as long as we let murray run heavy.

For sure! I’d like to see MT13 back out there though. One injury followed by another is a bit concerning. Sometimes that’s how it goes unfortunately.

Yeah, I’m with you though not having thomas isn’t going to kill us right now. I’d rather have him as close to 100% as possible when he returns.

It's concerning, but not surprising. He would have been very limited in what he could do the past few weeks as he recovered from the ankle injury. Then, knowing his competitive spirit, would practice at 100%.

Financially, it's improbable.

We have some idiotic fans. They literally want to throw away the chance at a super bowl this year because an incident happened in practice. Disregard all the praise he’s received for his hard work over the past few years. The best receiver the saints have ever had and our fans want to trade him....

If this continues to happen all season then I’d support it. But the overreaction is crazy.

You cool with the cap hit the saints would take from trading him, meaning we have to cut more players in the offseason, and cant sign anyone?

Not good. These two injuries, hamstrings and high ankle sprains can linger for a long time.

If you don’t think this team wirh a healthy Thomas has a shot at winning the super bowl why are you even here? You clearly aren’t a fan. This is one of the most talented rosters in the nfl.
