Jesus Christ....one thing I can always count on from Tiger Droppings if I go deep enough in any thread, and that's unchallenged casual racism.

Why he would wait until now to have the surgery makes no sense.

Didn't he have one surgery in January, and this is the second one? If so then I can see why the 2nd wasn't done in February.

hope so too because he's really set up to take off in the offense if can be available week in & week out.

So far he's proved that he is going to need his reps managed.

I also said they needed to add at wideout even with mike thomas.

At least they have the money to bring in jurell casey, a corner, and a wide receiver.

Maybe the saints look to thr trade market for a wideout. Not much out there in fa market.

Josh gordon and amendola would interest me.

Per underhill

There has been some confusion out there about Michael Thomas' situation. He had one and only one operation on his ankle, and it happened in June.

Hopefully the reporters actually push Payton for an answer on why Thomas waited until June. From what I’m hearing from my sauces is that this is all on Thomas and the organization wanted the surgery in Feb.

Per Underhill, Thomas saw a specialist after the 2020 season ended. The specialist believed that Thomas possibly could rehab the injury and avoid surgery. Thomas, according to the report, was supposed to spend a month or so attempting to heal the ankle and then return to the specialist to see whether surgery would be needed. Underhill reports that the return visit never happened.

Underhill adds that the events of the next few months are unclear. When Thomas returned to the Saints in June for offseason workouts (it’s unclear why he wasn’t there earlier), the Saints realized his ankle “was still in bad shape.” (Coach Sean Payton said in June of the Thomas ankle injury, “So far, so good.”) The team then told Thomas to get the surgery performed. And now he needs six to eight weeks after surgery to heal the ligament and six to eight weeks thereafter to get the repaired ankle into full football shape.

Once this selfish prick threw Brees under the bus for no reason and allow Brees to get hung out to dry until Brees apologized for nothing, he should have been dealt. This is on Payton too for letting this cancer get to this point. Thomas is a just a shitty individual
