Rattler hasn’t proven himself by a long shot. He’s had a couple of moments here and there, but that’s it.

there at the end Moreau and JJ were the top receiving threats, the backfield was depleted.

even the game where Carr got hurt @ the Giants was just a god-awful game to watch.

although the Packers game (Rattler start) was quite possibly the worst offensive game I've ever seen since I've watched Saints football.

I say that falls on coaching too.

The Washington game was absolutely awful for a half with Haener but Rattler almost made enough plays to beat a team that made to the NFCCG.

The Bucs game was also looked like a good coaching week because the Saints really were in control for the majority of a game the Bucs had to win.

The Raiders game was just flat out awful. A lot like the Packer game. If the coaches aren't bringing the juice all week regardless of who available player wise, then that will show up on gameday. Make no mistake about that.

you saw where Cam Jordan slammed Todd Grantham.

that kind of shite is a real thing.

Caoching matters!

9. New Orleans Saints Jaxson Dart, QB, Ole Miss

OK, here's the surprise pick. And I know the Saints just restructured Derek Carr's contract to tie him to the team for at least one more season. But what happens after that season? New coach Kellen Moore might want a young quarterback to work with and develop over the course of 2025 before turning the offense over to him in 2026. I'm hearing more and more first-round buzz on Dart, and New Orleans seems like a good fit. He wouldn't be forced to play right away and could learn behind Carr. This team still has a lot of roster-building decisions to make, but getting the QB of the future now does make some sense.

Dart was very accurate in Lane Kiffin's run-pass option offense at Ole Miss, and he can cause headaches for opposing defensive coordinators with his ability to tuck and run. Dart threw for 4,279 yards and rushed for 655 more last season.

LOL, yea. Mel hasn't ever been wrong. It's a terrible draft for qb's. Period.

The Saints have 1 explosive offensive weapon, if you havent been paying attention.
Great, draft a part time player in the second round instead of looking for a full time explosive player. Makes total sense.

I think if Shedeur is in play for us, then so is Dart/Milroe and we arent telling anyone.

I dont think Shedeur is going to translate well at the next level. He crumbled anytime he faced legit competition, IMO. He also wont have the freak of Travis in the NFL

Mock drafts are pointless, but the PFF draft has 1,2,3 Ward, Sanders, Dart

Their draft would be insanely frustrating for me b/c Graham goes 8 to CAR

If you believe Rattler sucks, that’s fine. He was a 5th round pick. You take a shot with QB’s that late and expect little.
Imagine how mad you will be if the Saints draft Dart top ten! Evaluators are saying that if he was in last years draft, Rattler would have been picked higher than him.
There are future all-pros at other positions that we can get (Warren, Jehnty, Graham, Campbell) and Kiper thinks we should draft a late round QB.

Suntiger and NawlinsTiger9 if Saints draft Dart at 9.

A lot of the mocks I’ve seen have Carolina taking Graham or Walker in front of us. Pretty frustrating.

After Bowers-gate last year, it would just be somewhat fitting.

PFF has us drafting the edge freak from TAMU b/c it would be on brand

Walker going in front of us would hurt my soul. I think he’s a top 5 player in this draft
