I think the question is...do you move Ruiz to his natural position of center, Lemieux back to LG, and try to find a RG worth a shite?

Move Ruiz to center, Patrick back to left guard and Saldaviei to right guard.

I like this plan

Coach did say Patrick was really good at communication up front so maybe Saldiveri can be something at LG?

Came in for 1 play when Ruiz got nicked up. Got blown the frick up and had the commentators chuckling.

Saints traded up to the first pick on day 3 last year because they had to have him. Time for him to justify that, but not looking good early in his career.

Saints desperately need to trade for an interior lineman. If they don’t, they won’t have five wins before McCoy is back.

Lol, nobody is giving up lineman once the season starts, unless you giving up stupid compensation.

Gotta check the scrap heap.

It’s gonna be someone like Trai Turner.

I’d like to see Ruiz move to center and Patrick stay at guard until McCoy is back.

That’s an absolute disaster. Wish I found it as funny as you do.

Injuries are going to happen in the NFL. They are unavoidable. If ONE injury to a non-QB destroys the entire offense then the Saints offense was a house of cards prime to collapse at any moment because it is highly likely other starters will miss some games this year.

The Saints weren't fully able to adjust on the fly last week. Now they will have a full week to prep with the reshuffled OL. I'm not saying it will be "back to normal" without McCoy. But they should be in a better spot to compensate for his loss going into the next game than they were trying to quickly adjust on Sunday.

That’s a weak, weak interior line.

There were a lot of injuries on Sunday. I’d get ready. I fear tomorrow’s injury report is going to drop on y’all like a broken heart.

Yeah that tweet you quoted is not good. Demario I imagine is one at least.

Do we know any others?

Demario probably has a multi-week thing. Carr?

Well that’ll do it then. Nice while it lasted, now I wish we had lost the other games so we are closer to having the #1 pick. This offense will be putrid without McCoy. Hopefully they move Ruiz to C and put Patrick back at LG. The thought of a right sided line of Saldiveri/Udoh at RG and Penning at RT is comical it’s so sad. Derek Carr should brush up on his life insurance plan.
