Didn't protect the football on the interception (threw into double coverage) failed to throw the ball away or eat it near the end of regulation at the Vikings' 20 yd. line.

Top 3 wait what???? We had to put in a third string QB to throw a deep ball. Brees will always be the Saints God but if you don't think defenses, good defenses know they do t have to worry about the deep ball then you're blind.

He's been a top 3 QB in the NFL this season with the same WRs. They didn't just magically become bad WRs

The OL has kept him clean all year, but today they didn’t.

Michael Thomas hasn’t been shut down all year, but today he was.

So then what?

If you’re going to blame him, you tell me what he missed

Trequan Smith dropped that ball on that first down.

Always easy to blame the QB
So because Smith dropped a ball on 1sr down, Brees is not responsible for anything he does on 2nd? Is that your argument? I'm struggling to follow because that's essentially your argument here as I understand it.

Because he was put directly in that position from 2 other players not doing their job ? Like wut?
for probably the 3rd time now, I don't blame Brees for the sack. It makes zero sense to absolve him entirely for fumbling though.

Yes. There was not 3-4 better QBs this season or over the past couple of seasons.

let me recap...

Smiths fault

Oline fault

Thomas fault

Everyone gets blame except for Brees. Yea, ok.

Are people really blaming Brees for this?

The entire team played like fricking shite.

I'm saying Brees deserves a share of the blame, exactly like you just stated in your post.

because a few couch coaches online say his arm isn’t strong no mo means he’s done. It’s time. Couch coaches have decided that facts, logic, and common sense means nothing.

What do you do, coach?

I don’t think Thomas is at fault. Never said that

OL, yes absolutely. Come on, by now you know what it takes for Brees to be successful. How many times did they blitz? I don’t remember any! They were getting to him with 4 meaning the rest of the guys were left to cover.

Trequan Smith yes. Drops a huge catch and was never heard from again.

Kamara, didn’t do shite

Sean Payton got outcoached, most importantly

Brees INT wasn’t good. But he’s over come stuff like that rather easily especially At home. If people step up.

That’s my point. You jump to the INT but overlook the other play right before that of someone not doing their job.

That's a bad point because I didn't absolve Smith or anyone else for their play.

But a drop on 1st down most certainly does not excuse a terrible play by Brees on 2nd down.

I thought Brees had a good enough game today besides that stupid arse INT.

O-Line let Drew down big time. Mostly against a 4 man rush only. Run blocking was lacking as well. Run blocking wasn't bad, but, they have to be better.

the only QB better than Brees on this team is Bridgewater. Brees is by far a better QB than Taysum Hill. Bridge would thrive in this offense.

Bunch of retards. So sick of this media invented narrative that the QB gets all credit and all blame.

No no no, you can't be logical about a team sport. Don't you know? You can only trash the QB when a game is lost. Be better.

He never streched any defense.
He ( brees) played like dog shite.
The team lost because outside of mt13 the saints have zero recievers. When we did get open brees under threw Ginn by 8 yards. Pete Carmichael called a crap game. He refused to set the tempo
with murry.
The saints offense was lazy . They ran 54 plays this offense has gotten 30 1st downs in one game and we ran 54 plays in an entire game thus decline is real
