With all due respect, his skills have diminished greatly over the last few seasons. The guy was great, but it is time.

Time to what?

You think there are how many QBs in the NFL better than Brees?

I thought we were too until I saw your post, then realized how you usually get it wrong and I felt better

Can you expound on how he played awful?

Was he missing WRs?

Did the OL play good?

OL was not good, but Brees wasn't good either.

His INT was just awful. The fumble, can't recall how much time he had, but it's not like it was a blindside, the actual fumble was also on Brees.

I've seen Brees play games in the past where he's running for his life all game and sitll drop 3 TDs and 0 INTs, so while his Oline was really bad, he wasn't good either.

This offense has disguised his decline.

He sucked today. Some his fault, some OL, some shitty play calling.
But he clearly didn't step up like a future HOF QB that he is.

Doesn't help when Kamara goes Full Retard on that last drive either.

What happened the play before the INT shel?

Someone ran the wrong route on the fumble. That’s why he held the ball a little long. He was in the process of throwing it into the ground. Regardless, Hunter buttfricked his blocker on the play

So you think people were open, and the guy who completes 3 out of every 4 of his passes just couldn’t hit them? Tell me more of what you saw

He’s not a top 3-4 QB in the league anymore. When you can’t push the ball down the field, you’re done.

People that are better than Brees right now in no particular order:

1. Brady
2. Aaron Rodgers
3. Patrick Mahomes
4. Carson Wentz
5. Philip Rivers
6. Russell Wilson
7. Lamar Jackson

So he’s a top 10 QB. That’s not worth the money we’re paying him.

Btw, it’s not that he’s historically bad. But as of night now, and given his lack of ability to accurately throw downfield, it really hampers his ranking.

Brees was the 3rd best qb on the field today

Outside of Michael Thomas, there was only one other catch from a WR

Somehow this was Brees’ fault

His WR weapons outside of Thomas are just putrid

I don't know, you tell me. But you're gonna have to explain why that has anything to do with throwing deep into double coverage as well.

That's fine. I didn't say taking a sack was on Brees, but fumbling 100% is on Brees, not sure why you'd want to argue against that.

I didn't say otherwise.

Rivers too, that list is really bad, man.

He's been a top 3 QB in the NFL this season with the same WRs. They didn't just magically become bad WRs today.

Brady hasn’t been great this year either.

And LOL at Rivers. He’s been awful this year

It’s not that he isn’t good it’s just that he don’t give a shite anymore. He only wants personal records.

Mahomes and Jackson are the only 2 better than Brees this season just based on play.

If you factor in missing 5 games, sure you can add a couple more. Definitely not Brady or Rivers though.

Well, the QB Is always the low hanging fruit to pick on. You’re better than that.

Trequan Smith dropped that ball on that first down.

Always easy to blame the QB

Because he was put directly in that position from 2 other players not doing their job ? Like wut?
