That is my exact same feelings, way too much to spend on a S to be a camp body.

I don't think you idiots know what a camp body really is.

Oh my fricking god... We have an unbelievable offseason last year and then do this??? Why the frick did they choose him over vaccaro

Good lord you're an idiot. Vaccaro sucks and many are more than happy to see him out the door. This signing all but makes that a reality.

11 INTs in 3 season. Ya, not good

7 INTs in 2015. So 4 INTs in past 2 seasons

The Ginn touchdown was bradberrys fault, looks like they were in a cover 2 and bradberry didn’t get deep enough to start and got burned by ginn. The picture is Coleman trying to save the play.

Coleman seems like a solid fit and an off-season of him getting healthy and working with the young bucks could be a huge plus for our secondary.

Guy said he hasnt been good with the Panthes. He's played for them for 3 years. Not 2.

Kenny Vaccaro for comparison has 8 INTs in 5 seasons. He has no ball skills whatsoever unless they are thrown right to him

I’m not suggesting he is not. We’ll see. Carolina’s D is always solid and Coleman was the captain so that alone should help.

Interestingly enough, the Saints pass D was better than the Panthers last year. Not by much but it was.

He gave up 116 QBR rating when targeted last year. Crappy signing

My point was it’s misleading to say he had 11 INTs in 3 seasons for the purpose of arguing his value. 7 of those INTs were during his career best year in 2015, which was years ago at this point. And technically he had 11 INTs in 2 seasons, as he had 0 last year

Since we’ve played him for 3 years twice a year, I’m gonna say we have a lot of scouting on him and they saw something they thought would fit in really well with our defense.

It’s also misleading to say he hasn’t been good in Carolina

Not saying he wasn’t good in Carolina. He was great for a bit, but horrid last year and now is turning 30. Just a bit risky

He had a MCL injury last year.

Not an easy injury for a safety to play with.

No it’s not. And he’s not in his 30’s yet.

He turns 30 in 4 weeks. So, unless we play a game before then, he is a 30 year old player.

You are trying to convince retarded people that though. They don't understand that for a safety, 30 isn't that bad. Maybe we should have not signed Brees since he was around 30. RBs, CBs, WRs, to an extent 30 is getting up there. To a safety who relies on intelligence, instinct, angles, and tackling ability, not so much. The biggest issue is most of these guys don't know much about him, and they are gay, so they just wanna bitch about it.
