And he’s knelt with the team before in solidarity for this exact cause. He just doesn’t think it should occur during the anthem.

This fricking terrible. Racist, stereotypical bullshite.
Colston is upstanding person and has been for a very long time. frick you for thinking otherwise.

No, he doest.
These protests involve more than kneeling during the anthem. You're not kneeling when you're marching and holding a BLM sign. Also, the body is capable of kneeling at times other than during the anthem and ample examples exist over the past few days.
Protests that relate to police on black fatalities are not exhaustively encompassed by kneeling during the Anthem. That is one portion of the protests and only the wilfully ignorant would say otherwise.

This is the issue I have. The blatant lying when there are actual statistics that tell the truth.

The BLM mindset brooks no deviation.
It's as though, if you protest six days of the week but then don't on Sunday for religious reasons, they would say not only that you shouldn't care what day of the week it is but actually question whether you really believe in the protest at all. Never mind the other six days, it's all about what you won't do on Sunday!
Suffice it to say that Brees thinks of the anthem the way some people think of Sundays. It's his irrational black teamates that owe HIM an apology.

So many people will never understand the black experience because you are not of that shade. I wish words were enough! Just try to listen for a moment. Being quite for a few minutes can be like medicine. While you are quiet open your heart and try to understand what has happened over many years in this country. Open a true book of history, sit down and listen to the older generation of color, visit places that makes you uncomfortable, try something new beyond your own experience and digress and release your mind to understanding.
I was born in Baton Rouge in the 70's and I can still see a burning cross in my yard at the age of 9. Certain people didn't want my family in that neighborhood. That God my dad was trained as a paratrooper and served our country well. He didn't take any shite from anyone!!

At least Colston explained why he thought Brees shouldn’t have said it. Unlike the rest who just attacked him. Dismissing him without explaining your experience isn’t going actually get someone to change.
I’m not directing this at you but you also did explain your view on why you disagree with views like Brees

How is his son in a system that sets him up to fail?
Especially the son of a self made millionaire?
Would he be this set up in another country?

And here I thought Marques Colston was the complete opposite of prima donna Michael Thomas.....
Here he is shitting on his QB that he won a super bowl with in public like a little bitch.
To hell with him.

I have no comment on either of their thoughts or feelings but I do for the dumb fricks who think Drew was the main reason for Colston’s success and production. Here’s some food for thought. Colston most likely has better numbers and recognition with the Pats or P Manning. Is what it is either way. They’re rich and comfy and we’re chattin on a narcissistic forum!

Hey Colston, instead of 2 years, how about 2 dicks in your mouth
