I don't think it is possible, even for Loomis, to trade Lattimore unless the Texans convert Watsons entire salary to a signing bonus this year and we get him for a minimum cap hit

I like Ceedy but it is probably him and fine with that. It isn’t too hard to fill that slot/box safety type roll that he plays. We seem to find those players pretty easy

This makes zero sense. Lattimore was restructured and would destroy our cap if he was traded.

Adebo is more valuable than CJ, thus more likely the one to go if it’s a DB in the deal

You won't lose Jenkins, Davis, Lattimore, Davenport, and Jordan due to restructures or age.

You can’t give them Onyemata. He’s the sole reason for our sting run D and can take over games by getting pressure up the middle. That changes games. I’d hYe losing CGJ but I’d much rather it be him than Onyemata. 3 firsts, a 3rd, CGJ and Zach Baun. I’m afraid though it’s going to be at least one of Onyemata, Adebo or Werner.

Payton Turner (re-signing granderson, restructuring Jordan and Davenport, and kpasaggnon on roster)
Ceedy deuce (extending roby, restructuring Lattimore)
We haven't chased another LB or DT to make me think we are losing onyemata (major starter) and werner (up and coming lber)
Watson + 4th in return

Late 1st rd picks are an overrated asset. The comp picks are huge and there is still possible compensation for CSP in coming years. And Saints have drafted well in lower leverage spots and have built the foundation of the team with those picks.
And the irreplaceable players aren’t going out, it appears (Lat, Ram, Dav, MT). Roby returning his huge. No issue sending out one or two guys. We have built in replacements and can shore up the depth through the draft and FA
