You guys who want Gruden have to be the same fans who were horny for Iron Mike.
The fact that this has even been floated out there shows the complete lack of innovation and creativity in the front office and the fan base.
Yall sound like all those SEC schools 15 years ago that were begging Gruden to come coach. At least he was somewhat relevant back then.
This notion that Gruden can fix Carr...he didn't win anything when he had Carr the first time. Neither did Dennis Allen.
Carr will never win anything. Cut your losses. Draft a qb. Start the rebuild.

You don’t hire a Super Bowl champion coach to be a coordinator or a consultant.
Regardless of the heat the saints may take at first, if you want to go hire Gruden, you just can Allen and give Gruden the HC.
Gruden is an alpha. You can’t put an alpha in a 2nd tier position. Locker room will be even more poisonous toward DA.

If Gruden wants back into the NFL I think he has to take what he gets.
The MAIN problem with the Saints is lack of discipline
especially on offense.There was no accountability for
mistakes even during practice.The players have said this.

Hiring Jon Gruden is just as dumb as hiring Allen was.
Gruden last winning season was 2008 the BUcs went 9-7 and the year before they went 9-7 and made the playoffs.
Gruden's record in Oak/LV before being fired was 22-32.
So are we really supposed to get excited about adding a coach whose last winning season was over a decade ago and the last time he was a Head Coach he was below .500.
Allen was a below .500 head coach and now we are excited about bring on another below .500 coach....

So Allen doesn't have to fire Pete. They want to bring gruden in as a senior offensive assistant.
I guess Allen has sold Loomis on this idea. Hunter Renfroe will be next.

That alpha is 117-112 as a HC, is toxic as hell and is suing the NFL. You would bankrupt an NFL franchise within a year with your wisdom.

Heres a great idea. Gruden and Carmichael will be co-offcoordinators lol. Because that worked so great with DA and Rob Ryan lol. I have no idea what this team is doing.
