Yeah hiring Gruden is basically DA saying I cant control these players and have accountability but I know Gruden can lol. It creates a weird power dynamic. At that point why do you need DA??

Gruden as a viable long term HC candidate is questionable at best, yet I’d certainly trust him a lot more than Allen to do an effective job.
Him working UNDER Dennis Allen just seems incredibly odd, no? Gruden is a much more successful HC, so I’ve no doubt he’d help but why would he agree to work under Allen of all people to repair his image? Unless he thinks he can get the interim gig once Allen is inevitably fired.
